Announcing 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Announcing 2025 Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce the 2025 Maize Education Foundation Scholarship recipients! The Foundation maintains three funds in support of scholarships for graduating seniors from Maize High School and Maize South High School.

Students are asked to complete an application for each scholarship they wish to be considered for, answering questions about leadership, community service, extracurricular involvement, and academic achievement. A volunteer group of retired educators, Maize USD 266 alumni, and Maize Education Foundation Board Members judge applications to help the Foundation select recipients.

We are pleased to announce this year's scholarship recipients:

Maize Education Foundation Legacy Scholarships:

Maize High School: Ainsley Cramer, Kevin Watkins

Maize South High School: Alyvia Herbig, Erin Wilson

Kyle Thornburg Memorial Scholarships:

Soccer: Chloe Pauls

Art & Design: Vienna Valarezo

Shelley Woodard Poynter Memorial Scholarships:

Maize High School: Emma Hays

Maize South High School: Ally Strobel

Thank you to a generous donation from Peoples Bank and Trust, we were able to award Legacy Scholarships to TWO graduating seniors from each high school this year.
