Maize High Music Groups Earn Top State Ratings

Congratulations to the Maize High School Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Women’s Choir, and Select Choir for earning top ratings at the State Large Group Festival!

The festival for choir, band, and orchestra was held Wednesday, April 9, at Wichita East High School.

The Women’s Choir and Select Choir both received straight I (superior) ratings, with nearly perfect scores from the judges—a truly outstanding accomplishment!

Both bands delivered impressive performances. The Concert Band received a II (excellent) rating, while the Symphonic Band earned a I (superior) rating.

The Maize High Orchestra also earned straight I (superior) ratings!
