100 students inducted into National Honor Society

Maize High School is proud to celebrate the induction of 100 outstanding students into the National Honor Society (NHS) on Nov. 11, 2025. This achievement reflects their commitment to the core values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character—values that guide and strengthen our school community each day.

NHS empowers, champions, and recognizes well-rounded students through a values-based framework that encourages meaningful engagement in academics and service. The Maize High School chapter strives to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, strengthen our school community, promote worthy leadership, and encourage the development of strong character in all students.

To qualify for membership, students must meet rigorous criteria:

  • Be a junior or senior
  • Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher
  • Participate in at least two school-related extracurricular activities
  • Complete a minimum of 20 community service hours during high school

These qualifications reflect the dedication and hard work that each inductee has demonstrated throughout their time at Maize High School.

Congratulations Eagles!
