Maize High students selected for District Honor Orchestra

Please join us in congratulating several outstanding Maize High Orchestra students who have earned positions in the South Central District Honor Orchestra. This honor reflects their dedication, talent, and countless hours of practice.

The South Central district includes all Wichita high schools and surrounding suburban districts such as Derby, Andover, and Goddard, as well as schools from Hutchinson, Newton, Lindsborg, McPherson, El Dorado, Winfield, and Ark City. 

We are proud to announce the Maize High School students selected:

• Jaeson Chan – Cello, Junior
• Kathryn Dayley – Bass, Senior
• Logan Tener – Bass, Senior (earned 1st chair)
• Jennifer Speer – Viola, Junior
• Katelyn Wheeler – Viola, Junior

These talented musicians will perform with the South Central District Honor Orchestra on Saturday, December 6 at 5 p.m. in the Maize High School Auditorium. We encourage our community to attend and support these students as they represent Maize with pride.
