Mara Pederson named to KMEA All-State Band

The Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA) All-State Bands represent the very best student musicians from across the state. Selection to an All-State ensemble is a significant honor, earned through a rigorous audition process that begins at the district level and advances to the state level.

Maize High School is proud to congratulate Mara Pederson, who was selected as 2nd Chair Oboe in the 56A KMEA All-State Band. This prestigious achievement places Mara among Kansas’s top student musicians and highlights her exceptional musicianship.

Earning a position in an All-State ensemble reflects countless hours of practice, commitment, and perseverance. Mara’s accomplishment is a testament to her talent, dedication, and hard work, and she represents Maize High School with great pride.
